Uses: Ampiclox Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections of lungs, throat, airways, skin & soft tissue, bone, ear, nose, blood and other bacterial infections.
It is also used to treat infection of wounds and lungs after surgery. It is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
Composition
Ampiclox 500mg capsule is composed of Ampicillin and Cloxacillin (500mg).
Each capsule contains 250 mg ampicillin as ampicillin trihydrate B.P.
In addition to that, 250 mg cloxacillin sodium U.S.P.
Side Effects: The side effects of Ampiclox are Urticaria, erythema, angioedema, rhinitis, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin itching and skin rashes.
How to use: This Capsule should be taken as a whole with a glass of water at a fixed time to gain optimal benefit. It should not be broken, crushed or chewed.
When not to use: Contraindicated in patients with Infectious mononucleosis, lymphatic leukaemia, increased sensitivity to (Ampicillin Sodium) and other penicillins, abnormal liver function.
Precaution: Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, a certain type of viral infection (infectious mononucleosis).
Pregnancy: The effect of Ampiclox Capsule in pregnant women is not known. However, it should be used only if prescribed by your doctor after considering it to be essential and safe.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
Overdose: The overdose of this Capsule may cause serious kidney failure if you have existing kidney problems. Symptoms of an overdose are nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.

Store below 25°C in a dry place and keep all medicines out of the reach of children. it is for oral use only.
