Cefamax
Cefamax (Cefixime) capsules are an oral cephalosporin antibiotic of the third generation. It is effective in the treatment of bacterial infections in tracts such as urinary and respiratory. Cefixime is used in curing pneumonia, gonorrhea, Lyme disease, and a number of other bacterial infections.
Package contains: The package contains 5 capsules of 400mg.
Composition:
In 400mg dose, each capsule is composed of:
400mg Cefixime (Pulse spec’s).
The capsule is also available in 200 mg and 500 mg.
An injection and syrup variant is also available for this medication.
Dosage: The dose is taken as prescribed by the physician or doctor.
Uses: This antibiotic is effective in eliminating the bacteria from the respiratory tract, urinary tract, over the skin and ducts leading to the liver. Other uses are killing bacterial growth in the biliary duct and tissues under the skin. Refer to a physician to know the right usage.
Side effects: Cefamax may cause dizziness, diarrhea, inflammation of tracts, stomach ache, headache, and weakness. In severe cases, it may cause anemia and the killing of good bacteria. If side effects get inferior, look for a doctor.
