Betasalic (Bethamathasone / Salicylic Acid) is 15gm ointment. It provides relief from redness, itching, and swelling. It also helps in softening the skin.
Indications: Inflammatory dermatosis, Eczema, including atopic, infantile, discoid, and stasis eczema, psoriasis, Neurodematosis, including lichen, Seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Uses of Betasalic Ointment:
•Eczema
•Psoriasis
Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swell and becomes dry, itchy, rough, and red. Apply the ointment as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.
Dosage and administration: Apply 2-3 times daily to the affected area, or as directed by the physician.
Side effects: It may cause these side effects: Burning, Itching, Irritation, Dryness, Folliculitis, Allergic contact dermatitis.
When not to use: It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
