EFFIGENTA
EFFIGENTA (Betamethasone & Gentamicin) cream is for external use only.
Package contains: Each package contains 15 grams EFFIGENTA cream tube. It is also available as ointment (15g tube). 
Composition:
Betamethasone (Dipropionate) BP 0.5mg (0.05% w/w)
Gentamicin (Sulphate) BP 1mg (0.1% w/w)
In a cream base.

Dosage: Apply sparingly to the affected areas as directed by the director (doctor/pharmacist). Put a small amount of the cream onto the affected area twice daily.
Uses: Effigenta cream & ointment are used to treat certain steroid-responsive inflammatory manifestations of the skin when complicated by secondary infections caused by organisms suspected including gentamicin dermatitis, (such infections are suspected including contact dermatitis, (infantile eczema, allergic dermatitis).
Neurodermatitis (lichen simplex chronicus), eczema (including nummular eczema, hand eczema eczematous dermatitis), intertrigo, dyshidrosis, psoriasis, lichen planus, seborrheic dermatitis, exfoliative dermatitis, solar dermatitis, stasis dermatitis, and anogenital and sterile pruritus.
Pregnancy: Drug of this class should not be used on pregnant women in large amounts or for prolonged period of time.
Side effects: The side effects may include: an (itchy) allergic reaction, and irritation where the cream is applied. If too much cream is used for too long you may develop stretch marks, thinning of the skin, or visible small veins.
Remember: This medicine is for you. Never give it to others. It may harm them even if their symptoms are the same as yours. 
Instructions: Dispose off unused material when your treatment is complete. Keep out of the eyes. Not for long-term use. For further information, read the enclosed leaflet. Store below 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
