PROVAT-G cream
PROVAT-G cream consists of Betamethasone Disproportionate U.S.P & Gentamicin sulphate U.S.P
Provat-G cream is used for the relief of inflammatory manifestation of resistant or severe psoriasis and corticoid responsive dermatosis.
When complicated by secondary infections caused by organisms susceptible to Gentamicin including sensitive strains of streptococci, staphylococcus aureus and gram negative bacteria.
It is indicated for the tropical relief of subacute/chronic hyperkeratotic and dry corticosteroids.
It provides relief for psoriasis, chronic atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, lichen planus and seborrhea of the scalp like disorders.

Composition and package:
Package contains a tube of cream of 15 gram.
Each gram contains:
| Betamethasone Disproportionate USP equivalent to Betamethasone | 0.5mg |
| Gentamicin sulphate USP equivalent to Gentamicin | 1mg |
Dosage:
Apply thin film to completely cover the affected area twice daily, once in the morning & at night.
For some patients, adequate maintenance therapy may be achieved with less frequent application.
Cautions
*Discontinue treatment if irritate or sensitization develops and institute appropriate therapy.
*Administer anti-fungal agent with presence of an infection.
*Excessive and prolonged use of Salicylic acid may cause symptoms of salicylism.
*Product should not be used near eyes.
*Contact with mucous membrane should be avoided.
*Store at room temperature & avoid freezing.
Reactions:
You may feel burning, stinging, dry skin, pruritus and irritation.
Consult your doctor immediately if you feel such conditions getting worse.
