Zolfun
Zolfun is a broad-spectrum anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory cream. It is used for the treatment of sensitive, inflamed fungal skin conditions.
Zolfun cream treats fungal skin infection when there are additional symptoms of inflammation (such as swelling, redness, and itching)and reduces the swelling and itching caused by it.
It is used for the treatment of infection and irritation of the vulva or end of the penis (glans) caused by thrush. It is also used to treat nappy rash and fungal infection of the breast fold (intertrigo), as well as infections such as ringworm and athlete’s foot.
Packaging: 10gram and 30gram cream filled in a collapsible aluminum tube.
Composition:
Each gram of cream contains:
Clotrimazole 10mg
Hydrocortisone as acetate 10mg

Indications: For the treatment of a variety of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It is also used to treat skin conditions known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, or legs.
Dosage and Administration:
- As directed by the physician.
- If the feet are infected, they should be washed and dried thoroughly, especially between the toes, before applying the cream.
- The cream should be applied thinly to the affected areas twice daily and rubbed in gently. Approximately 1cm of cream per application should be enough.
Adverse effects:
Some adverse effects caused by zolfum are:
- Rash
- Swallowing or breathing problem
- Swelling of lips, face, throat, or tongue
- Weakness, feeling dizzy or faint
- Nausea
- Mild burning
- Itching
- Stretch marks
- Thinning or whitening of the skin
- Secondary infections
- An acne-like rash
