Agolix
Agolix (Doxofylline) syrup. It is a combination of Doxofylline.
Indications: Doxofylline is indicated for the treatment of bronchial asthma and pulmonary diseases with associated spastic bronchial components.
Package contains: Each package contains 60ml syrup of 100mg/5mg. It is also available in tablets of 400mg.
Composition: 
Each 5ml contains:
Doxofylline 100 mg
Product complies with Hiranis Specs.
Dosage:
Syrup: Elderly Patients: 10ml (2 teaspoonful), two or three times daily.
Children above 12 years old: 10ml (2 teaspoonful), two or three times daily.
Children less than 12 years old: 6-9 mg/kg twice daily, or as directed by the Physician.
Contraindications: This is contraindications in individuals who have shown hypersensitive to its components. It is also contraindications in patients with acute myocardial infarction, hypotension, and in lactating women.
Undesirable Effects: After xanthine administration, Nausea, Vomiting, epigastric pain, cephalalgia, irritability, insomnia, tachycardia, extrasystole, tachypnea & occasionally hyperglycemia and albuminuria may occur.
Drug interaction and Others: Doxofylline should be administered with other xanthine derivatives, including beverages and foods containing caffeine. Toxic synergism with ephedrine has been documented for xanthine.
Concomitant therapy with erythromycin, troleandomycin, lincomycin, clindamycin, allopurinol, cimetidine, propranolol, and anti-flu vaccine may decrease the hepatic clearance of xanthine causing an increase in blood levels.
