Focin
Focin Suspension 250mg powder for 60ml suspension is composed of Fosfomycin. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic in syrup.
Package contains: Each package contains powder for 60ml suspension (syrup). It is also available in capsules of 500mg. 
Composition:
Each 5ml contains:
Fosfomycin Calcium equivalent to Fosfomycin 250mg.

Dosage: As directed by the physician. Protect from heat, sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children. For oral use only.
Premature & nursing infants: 50 – 100 mg/kg body weight of reconstituted suspension in 3 or 4 divided doses.
Children above one year 100 – 200 mg/kg body weight of reconstituted suspension in 3 or 4 divided doses.
Direction for reconstitution: To make up to 60ml add boiled and cooled water upto the mark, invert bottle and shake until all powder is dispersed. Then slowly add more water to make the suspension upto the mark of bottle.
Instructions: Shake well before use. Once reconstituted the suspension must be used within 7 days. Keep the prepared suspension in a cool place. To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner. Fr detailed information, please see the insert.
Uses: It is indicated in the treatment of; Acute, subacute & chronic, non-complicated urinary tract infections, infantile acute gastro-enteritis, pneumonia, bronchitis, infections of the digestive tract (preferably of enteric localization) and dermatological infections. 
Contraindications: None have been reported.
Incompatibilities: None have been reported.
Interactions: None have been reported.
Intoxicated & its treatment: At present no causes of acute or chronic intoxicated have been reported.
Side Effects: Oral administration of Fosin causes, sometimes soft faeces or diarrhoea in patents with hypersensitivity to antibiotics or other drugs, a cutaneous rash may appear which usually subsides with oral antihistamines, without stopping, in general, the treatment.
