XIB (Dexibuprofen) suspension is for the relief of fever & pain. It is an antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic syrup. Each 5ml contains Dexibuprofen 100mg.
Package Contains: Each package contains 60ml syrup. It is also available in the form of tablets (200,300 & 400mg Tablets: Alu-Alu pack of 30’s).

Dosage: As directed by the physician. (See package insert for full prescribing information). For oral use only. Replace the cap securely after use.
Directions & Administration: The dosage must be adjusted to the seriousness of the syndrome and the complaints of the patient. During chronic pain, the dosage must be adapted to the lowest effective dose that provides adequate control of symptoms.
The recommended adult dosage is 600 to 900 mg of Dexibuprofen daily, divided into up to three single doses. For the treatment of mild to moderate pain, initially, single doses of 200mg of Dexibuprofen & daily doses of 600mg are recommended.
The maximum single dose is 400mg of Dexibuprofen. The maximum daily dose is 1200mg. For dysmenorrhoea, a daily dose of 600 to 900mg of Dexibuprofen, divided into up to three single doses, is recommended. The maximum single dose is 300mg; the maximum daily dose is 900mg.
Indications:
- Fever pain & inflammation caused by osteoarthritis.
- Acute symptoms treatment of pain during menstrual bleeding (primary dysmenorrhea).
- Mild to moderate pain, such as pain in the muscles and joints and toothaches.
Precautions: Symptoms or history of gastrointestinal diseases, asthma, impaired hepatic, cardiac, or renal function. NSAID may mask infections or temporarily inhibit platelet aggregation.
In late pregnancy, as with other NSAIDs, it should be avoided as it may cause premature closure of ductus arteriosus. Dexibuprofen should be used with caution in nursing mothers.
Side effects: Clinical experience has shown that the risk of undesirable effects induced by Dexibuprofen is comparable to that of racemic ibuprofen. The most common adverse events are gastrointestinal in nature.
Instructions: Keep out of reach of Children. Avoid exposure to heat & light. Store between 15°C – 30°C. Shake well before use. Only to be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
