Axcin
Axcin (Ciprofloxacin) tablets are manufactured by Novartis Pharma (Pakistan) Limited. It is used to treat serious infections, or infections when other antibiotics have not worked. It’s used to treat bacterial infections, such as chest infections (including pneumonia).

Description:
Each film coated tablet contains Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride monohydrate U S.P. equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 500 mg. Axcin 500mg Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment of various bacterial infections.
Ciprofloxacin:
Ciprofloxacin may also be used to treat bronchitis, sinus infections, or urinary tract infections but should not be used for bronchitis and sinus infections, or certain types of urinary tract infections if there are other treatment options.
Antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections. Using antibiotics when they are not needed increases your risk of getting an infection later that resists antibiotic treatment.
Dosage: Ciprofloxacin comes as a tablet, a suspension (liquid), and an extended-release tablet to take by mouth with or without food.
Take ciprofloxacin at around the same time(s) every day. The length of your treatment depends on the type of infection you have.
Precautions:
- Protect from heat, light and moisture.
- To be swallowed whole.
- All medicines should be kept out of the reach of children.
