Breeky (Misoprostol) works by protecting your stomach lining by lowering the amount of acid that comes in contact with it.
Package Contains: It contains 10 film coated tablets of 200 mcg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Misoprostol Dispersion USP equivalent to Misoprostol 200 mcg.
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid exposure to heat, light and humidity. Store between 15 to 30°C.
Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine. Only to be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
Uses: This medication is used in combination with another drug (mifepristone) to end a pregnancy (abortion).
Warnings: Breeky should not be taken by pregnant women to reduce the risk of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
Precautions: May cause diarrhea, should not be co-administered with other drugs that cause diarrhea (e.g., magnesium-containing antacids). Safety and efficacy in patients with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, renal impairment, or respiratory disease are not established.
Consult your doctor before breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
Side effects: It can cause severe ongoing stomach discomfort or diarrhea, feeling very thirsty or hot, being unable to urinate, heavy sweating, or hot and dry skin.
