Cardace
Cardace (Enalapril Maleate USP) Tablet is an antihypertensive medication. It helps decrease high blood pressure in patients having hypertension. Additionally, it is also effective to prevent heart failure.
Cardace Tablet is composed of Enalapril Maleate as an active ingredient. It is belonging to the group of medicines known as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
It shows its effectiveness by lowering the resorption of sodium and water from the kidneys and causing relaxation of the arterioles thus as a result it lowers the blood pressure.
Package contains: Each pack of Cardace contains 20 tablets of 10mg.
Composition: 
Each tablet contains:
Enalapril Maleate USP 10mg.

Dosage: Initial dose is 10mg-20mg which would be adjusted to a maximum of 40mg daily or as directed by the physicians.
Indications: Congestive heart failure. All grades of essential hypertension and renovascular hypertension where standard therapy is ineffective.
Contra-indications: Pregnancy, aortic stenosis, outflow obstruction.
Adverse/Side effects: Hypotension, Dizziness, Headache, Fatigue, Asthenia, Syncope, Nausea, Diarrhoea, Muscle cramps, Rash cough, Renal dysfunction.
Instructions: Store below 25oC. Protect the medicine from light, heat, and moisture. Keep all medicine out of reach of children. To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
