Cipact (Ciprofloxacin HCl) tablet works by inhibiting an enzyme required for the bacteria to make its own copies and cause serious infections.
Package Contains: It contains 10 film coated tablets of 250mg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Ciprofloxacin HCl (USP) equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 250mg
(USP Specs.)
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Uses: It is an antibiotic and is used in treating various types of bacterial infections such as pneumonia, sinus infection and infections of the skin, ear, nose, stomach, urinary tract, etc.
Precautions: Consult your doctor if you are allergic to it. Interaction with alcohol is unknown. This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary.
The risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
Side effects: Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, White patches in the mouth or on the tongue, Joint pain, Black or tarry stools, Fever with chills, Chest tightness, Ringing or buzzing in the ears.
Muscle pain, numbness of the hands, Swelling of face, lips, eyelids, tongue, hands, and feet, Running nose & Sneezing.
Instructions: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid excess exposure to heat, light, and humidity. Store below 30°C.
