Diane-35
Diane-35 Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines used to treat symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) such as excessive hair growth (hirsutism), acne, and irregular periods. Diane-35 also works as a contraceptive, hence avoid using any other contraceptive pill.

Cyproterone (2mg)+ Ethinyl Estradiol (0.035mg)

Dosage:
Diane-35 Tablet can be taken with or without food.
Take it at the same time every day as it will help you remember to take it.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole, do not chew, crush or break it.
Diane-35 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Side effects: The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, weight gain, and breast pain. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know.
There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.
Consult your doctor if you frequently experience spotting or brown discharge in the middle of the cycle.
You must also consult your doctor if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain or vision changes.
Precaution: Before you begin taking a medication, be sure to inform your doctor of any medical conditions or allergies you may have, any medications you are taking, whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and any other significant facts about your health.
Birth control: This medication should not be used only for birth control. Women should use a non-hormonal method of birth control (such as condoms) while taking this medication. Birth control pills should not be taken at the same time as cyproterone – Ethinylestradiol.
Depression: Hormones, such as cyproterone – Ethinyl estradiol have been known to cause mood swings and symptoms of depression.
If you have depression or a history of depression, discuss with your doctor whether any special monitoring is needed.
