    Duride

    Duride (Furosemide + Amiloride) is a cardio care tablet. It is a potent loop diuretic that works to increase the excretion of Na+ and water by the kidneys by inhibiting their reabsorption from the proximal and distal tubules, as well as the loop of Henle.

    Uses: This medicine is used in the treatment of cardiac edema, pulmonary edema (fluid in lungs), cerebral edema (water accumulation in brain), and peripheral edema (swelling of lower limbs).

    Package Contains: It contains 20 tablets.

    Duride

    Composition:

    Each tablet contains:

    Furosemide B.P 40 mg

    Amiloride Hydrochloride B.P 5 mg

    Dosage: Once-daily or as directed by the physician.

    Indications: It is indicated where diuresis is required and where magnesium and potassium conservation is important e.g., in fluid retention due to cardiac, hepatic, or renal disorders and in hypertension.

    Precautions: Please consult your doctor if you have renal failure (kidney disease), hypokalaemia (decreased potassium in blood), hypotension (decreased blood pressure), or hypersensitivity to sulphonamides before taking this medicine.

    Consult your doctor before breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.

    Side effects: Patients using this medicine may experience electrolytes balance disturbances, allergic reactions, or dehydration. Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.

    Instructions: (Excursions permitted between 15-30°C). Protect from light and moisture, store at 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. For complete information see package insert.
