Glio P (Glimepiride + Pioglitazone) Tablet is usually used to control high blood sugar in patients having type-2 diabetes. It is used with a proper healthy diet and exercise for better results.
It is composed of Glimepiride and Pioglitazone. Glimepiride belongs to the group of medicines known as sulfonylureas and Pioglitazone belongs to the class of drugs generally known as thiazolidinediones. It works by causing the discharge of your body’s natural insulin.
It is also helpful to prevent loss of limbs, nerve problems, blindness, sexual problems, strokes, heart attacks, and kidney damage by decreasing high blood sugar.
Package contains: Each pack of this medicine contains 14 tablets of 2mg/30mg.
Each tablet contains:
Glimepiride USP 2mg.
Pioglitazone (as HCl) USP 30mg.
