    Itoper (Itopride Hydrochloride) tablet is an orally active Gastroprokinetic agent.

    It is chemically designated as N-{4-{2-(Dimethylamino) ethoxy} benzyl}-3,4-dimethoxybenzamide hydrochloride. It is a substituted benzamide.

    Uses: It is used to increase the mobility of food in the stomach and intestine.

    It is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, etc. associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional dyspepsia, and other associated motility disorders.

    Precautions: Consult your doctor before breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of allergy to itopride.

    This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having internal bleeding of the stomach and intestine. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having a blockage in the intestine.

    Side effects: Some side effects are listed as: Diarrhea, Headache, Decrease in white blood cells and platelets, Breast enlargement in men, Skin rash, Increased liver enzyme levels in the blood, Jaundice, Constipation, Increased salivation, and Dizziness.
