Metost
Metost (Montelukast) Tablet is usually used for the symptomatic treatment of asthma, such as wheezing and shortness of breath. It is also used before doing exercise to prevent trouble breathing. It is also effective against allergic rhinitis, hay fever, itchy nose, and sneezing.
It is composed of Montelukast Sodium. It belongs to a group of medicines generally known as leukotriene receptor antagonists or LTRAs. It shows its effectiveness by blocking the activity of substances that cause breathing problems and allergic rhinitis.
Package Contains: Each pack of Metost contains 14 tablets of 10mg.

Side effects:
Some side effects may be caused by Metost tablets, but they are commonly rare.
Common side-effects are;
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Stomach pain
- Headache
- Fever
- Diarrhoea
- Ear infection
- Runny nose
Some severe allergic reactions may also include;
- Stuttering
- Uncontrolled muscle movements
- Numbness in the legs or pain
- Sinus pain
- Muscle weakness
