SILLIVER
SILLIVER (Silymarin) is used as Hepato-protective, adjunctive therapy in the treatment of liver disease & protects the liver from damage caused by general anesthesia.
Package Contains: The package contains a glass bottle of 30 film coated tablets.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Silymarin Abbott specs 200 mg
Indications:
As adjunctive therapy in the treatment of liver disease of varying etiologies. Acute hepatitis, chronic persistent & chronic aggressive Hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, fatty liver, toxic and metabolic liver damage.
Usual Dose:
Adults: 1tablet twice daily for 4-6 weeks.
Children: One-half of the adult dosage.
Or as prescribed by your physician.
Adverse reaction:
SILLIVER (silymarin) is normally well tolerated, even when the physician intends to administer it over long periods of time.
At high doses, a slight laxative and diuretic effect may be observed.
Immediately consult with your doctor if any of the side effects get worse.
Contraindication: SILLIVER (silymarin) is contraindicated in individuals with a hypersensitivity to the product, or when mechanical obstacles are present in the biliary tracts.
Precautions: No conditions have been encountered which would preclude the administration of SILLIVER.
However, it is recommended to ask your doctor before starting this medicine.
