Sitaphage (Sitagliptin + Metformin HCl) tablet works by increasing the deficient substances in the body which lowers blood sugar levels. It does not treat type 2 diabetes. Proper diet and exercise are helpful if performed with this drug.
Uses: It is used to control blood sugar in the human body by preventing nerve problems, and kidney damage.
Package Contains: It contains 14 film-coated tablets of 50mg/1000mg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Sitagliptin as Phosphate Monohydrate, USP 50 mg
Metformin Hydrochloride, Ph. Eur. 1000 mg
Dosage: As prescribed by the physician.
Precautions:
Before breastfeeding makes sure that this drug may not affect the baby. If you are pregnant then contact your doctor so any problem may not occur. Do not use heavy machinery or heavy labor after taking this drug.

Nausea
Diarrhea
Headache
Metallic taste in the mouth
Unusual skin blisters
Sudden weight gain
Abdominal pain
Trouble breathing
Severe dizziness
