Tagipmet (Sitagliptin and Metformin HCI) tablets are oral diabetes medicines that help control blood sugar levels.
Metformin works by decreasing glucose (sugar) production in the liver and decreasing absorption of glucose by the intestines. Sitagliptin works by regulating the levels of insulin your body produces after eating.
Sitagliptin and Metformin is a combination medicine that is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Sitagliptin (as phosphate) 50 mg.
Metformin HCI B.P 1000 mg.

Missed dose:
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
