Terlax
Terlax (Tizanidine) is a short-acting muscle relaxer use for painful muscle spasms. It works by blocking nerve impulses (pain sensations) that are sent to your brain.
It acts on the nervous system and reduces muscle spasms, allowing the muscles to relax. It is used to treat spasticity by temporarily relaxing muscle tone. It may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
How it works?: Terlax contains Tizanidine as an active ingredient and belongs to the muscle relaxant class of drugs. This tablet blocks nerve impulses that send pain signals to the brain. It acts as a short-acting muscle relaxant.
Package contains: Each pack of Terlax contains 10’s tablets of 2mg. Also available in following packing: Terlax 4mg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Tizanidine (as HCl) 2mg

- 2 to 4 tablets daily in divided doses or as directed by the physician.

Instructions:
- Store below 30oC.
- Protect from light, moisture and heat.
- Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
- Use only on medical advice.
- For oral use only.
Some side-effects may be caused by this Tablet, but they are extremely rare.
Side effects can include:
- Hypersensitivity
- Allergic reactions
- Dry mouth
- Diarrhoea
- Constipation
- Drowsiness
- Headache.
