TINEX
Tinex (Tizanidine USP) is a short-acting muscle relaxer. It works by blocking nerve impulses (pain sensations) that are sent to your brain. It acts on the nervous system and reduces muscle spasms, allowing the muscles to relax.
It is used to treat spasticity by temporarily relaxing muscle tone. It may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Package contains: The package contains 10 film coated tablets 2mg and a leaflet insert. It is also available in 4mg tablets.

Tizanidine as HCl (USP) 2mg

Side Effects: Major & minor side effects for Tinex tablet 2 mg
- Chest pain or discomfort
- Nausea or Vomiting
- Nervousness
- Painful or burning urination
- Blurred vision
- Irregular heartbeat
- Itching skin
- Shortness of breath.
Dosage:
As directed by your physician or see package insert full prescribing information. And take the missed dose as soon as you remember. The missed dose should be skipped if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose.
Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose. Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
General Precautions: This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Tinex tablet 2 mg or any other components present along with it.
Pregnancy: This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary.
Breastfeeding: This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary.
Instructions:
Protect from heat, light & moisture.
Store in a cool & dry place.
Keep all medicine out of reach of children.

Store at 25o C.
