    Use:

    VildoMet is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus whose diabetes is not adequately controlled on metformin hydrochloride or vildagliptin alone or who are already treated with the combination of vildagliptin and metformin hydrochloride as separate tablets.

    14 Tablets of (50mg/850mg).

    Composition:

    This Drug is available for oral administration as:

    1. VildoMet Tablets 50mg/500mg

     Each film-coated tablet contains:

    • Vildagliptin MS – 50mg
    • Metformin HCl USP – 500 mg
    • Mfg. Specs: HIGH-Q
    • VildoMet Tablets 50mg/850mg

    Each film-coated tablet contains:

    • Vildagliptin MS – 50mg
    • Metformin HCl USP – 850 mg
    • Mfg. Specs: HIGH-Q
    • VildoMet Tablets 50mg/1000mg

     Each film-coated tablet contains:

    • Vildagliptin MS – 50mg
    • Metformin HCl USP – 1000 mg
    • Mfg. Specs: HIGH-Q

    Dosage and Administration:

    The recommended starting dose should be based on the patient’s current regimen of vildagliptin and metformin hydrochloride. This medication should be given with meals to reduce the gastrointestinal side effects associated with metformin hydrochloride.

    Contra-indication:

    • Hypersensitivity.
    • Renal diseases.
    • Congestive heart failure.
    • Diabetic ketoacidosis.
    • Radiologic Studies.

    Severe Affects:

    This medication may cause severe effects on special kinds of patients such as:

    • Patient with renal impairment.
    • Patient with hepatic impairment.
    • Pediatric patient.
    • Elderly.

    Dosage:VildoMet back
