Dicloran (Diclofenac Sodium) 75mg injections are manufactured by SAMI’s Specs.
For I.M (intragult.)/I.V. (per infus). This medicine is used to treat joint pain and aches.
Each pack contains: Each 75mg pack pack of injections contain 5x3ml Ampoules.
Composition:
Each 3ml contains:
Diclofenac Sodium B.P 75mg.
Usage: Dicloran injection is used to treat problems of musculoskeletal and joint pain. It is a non-sedative pain killer that belongs to a group of anti-inflammatory medicines known as NSAIDs. Primarily prescribed for unpleasant sensation, inflammation, and emotional experience associated with damage to tissues.
It is prescribed to reduce both long-term chronic and short-term pain. It is helpful in
- Acute migraine
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Muscle pain
- Dental pain
- Painful menses
- Osteoarthritis
Side effects: Common side effects are dizziness, headache, vomiting, indigestion, loss of appetite, nausea, heartburn, and stomach pain, etc.
people with severe heart failure, peptic ulcer, high blood pressure, gastric bleeding, and diarrhea should avoid the intake of this injection.
Dosage: As indicated by the physician. For an adult, the dosage is one ampule daily injected to the upper and outer quadrant. Dicloran injections are not suggested for children.
This injection is not suitable to use during pregnancy and lactation. Therapeutic measures should be taken in case of overdosage.
Instructions: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid exposure to heat, light, and freezing. Store below 15 to 30 degrees Celsius. Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine.
Caution: Injection should not be used if the container is leaking, the solution is cloudy or it contains un-dissolved particles.
