Onset (ondansetron) 8mg (USP Specs) injection is manufactured by Pharmedic Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. It is used to treat vomiting, nausea, and upset stomach.

Usage: Certain medical conditions like stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting are treated with this injection. This medicine is also used to treat vomiting and nausea caused by cancer, any surgery, and radiotherapy or drug therapy.
It is injected as a slow intravenous injection at the induction of anesthesia. This medicine can be used alone or with other medications to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.
Side effects: Redness, pain, burning may occur at the site of injections.
Common side effects of this injection are drowsiness, tiredness, headache, fever, constipation, etc. if any of these symptoms persist or worsen, then contact your doctor.
Dosage: As directed by the physician. For detailed information, see leaflet. The recommended dose of this injection is 8mg administered as a slow injection at a rate slower than 30 seconds.
This injection has shown to be equally effective in prescribed intravenous schedules over the first 24 hours of chemotherapy. The selection of the dosage of this injection should be determined by the severity of the emetogenic challenge.
