Betoxi (Piroxicam as beta-cyclodextrin- 20mg) capsules are used for relief from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Indications:
It is indicated for symptomatic relief of osteoarthritis (arthritis caused by breakdown of lining of joints) and rheumatoid arthritis. It is used to get relief from ankylosing spondylitis (an inflammatory disease that results in fusion of vertebrae). It is used to relieve pain, tenderness, swelling and stiffness caused by inflammatory conditions of bones and joints.
Adverse Effects:
It can lead to abnormal liver function tests, urinary problems, dizziness, headache, restlessness, itching or rash.
Gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach upset, heartburn, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and gas in the stomach may occur. It may cause shakiness in the legs, arms, hands, or feet.
