Ecotec
Ecotec is probiotic capsules, a combination of four probiotic strains designed for the prevention of acute or chronic infections diarrhea of non -specific origin, antibiotic associated diarrhea, traveler’s diarrhea, and other GI symptoms.
It’s other indication includes inflammatory bowel disease (Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease) irritable bowel syndrome and post operative state.
Ecotec can be co-prescribed with antibiotic to minimize the ecologic damage of intestinal flora. Probiotics are dietary supplements containing potentially beneficial bacteria. It is developed according to WHO guidelines.
Ecotec probiotic box contain 10 capsules. Manufactured by CHR HANSEN, EU packed and marketed by SEARLE company limited.
Ingredients:
Each capsule containing 180 mg (>1 billion CFU) standardized freeze-dried cultures of:
Lactobacillius acidophilus, (LA-5)
Bifidobacterium, BB-12
Streptococcus thermophilus, STY-31
Lactobacilus delbruceckii ssp
Bulguricus, LBY-27
Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is 1-2 capsules a day.
It can be recommended up to 6 capsules a day depending on the severity of condition, to be continued for 1 week after the symptoms subside or as prescribe by healthcare.
Ecotec can be used in combined with ORS, anti-fungal anti-protozoal, anti viral other anti-diarrheal products and also with chemotherapeutic agents.

Safety and Side Effects:
Ecotec is safe to use. It contains four strains of friendly bacteria they colonize in the intestinal track and do not enter into systemic circulation. In clinical studies no noticeable side effect have been observed in relation.
