Esopep
Esopep (Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate) capsule is used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease.
It also neutralizes stomach acids to prevent discomfort.
Package Contains:
Each package contains 14 capsules of Esopep (20mg).
Composition:
Each capsule contains:
- Enteric coated pellets of Esomeprazole
- Magnesium Trihydrate equivalent to
- Esomeprazole 20mg.
- (USP specifications).
Dosage:
Use according to medical advice.
Therapeutic Indications:
This drug is indicated for:
- Treatment of Erosive Reflux Esophagitis.
- Long-term management of patients with healed esophagitis to prevent relapse.
- Healing duodenal ulcers associated with helicobacter pylon-associated ulcers.
Contradictions:
Esopep is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to substituted benzimidazoles.
Warnings:
- There are no well-controlled and adequate studies in pregnant women. It should be used during pregnancy, only if clearly needed.
- Esomeprazole is likely to be excreted in human milk, so it should be only used if needed clearly.
Instructions:
- Store in a cool and dry place, below 30°C.
- Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
