It is used to treat pain caused by nerve damage.

Usage: Gaba pil capsules are used to treat pain caused by nerve damage due to infection, diabetes, or spinal cord injury. The medicine is also prescribed to patients suffering from shingles (herpes zoster), fibromyalgia, and different types of seizures.

This medicine has become a popular supplement as it also reduces the symptoms of fear, anxiety, and stress. It attaches a protein to your brain receptor and thus produces a calming effect. Also available as a dietary supplement and is extremely effective at easing nighttime anxiousness.

Side effects: Short-term side effects of this medicine might include muscle weakness, sleepiness, headache, and upset stomach. Long-term side effects include epilepsy.

It might result in weight gain and liver injury. However, the causality in the case of liver injury is not reported.
