Description:
Each capsule contains Lansoprazole 30 mg U.S.P in delayed-release form.
Inhibitol works by decreasing the amount of acid made in the stomach.
It is a prescription medicine that is used for Short term treatment and maintenance of Stomach ulcers.
Dosage: Inhibitol is used before food. It should be taken whole with a full glass of water. This medicine should not be chewed or crushed. This medicine should be used as prescribed by the physician or see package insert for full prescribing information.
Lansoprazole: This medicine helps by reducing acid secretions in the stomach.
Inhibitol Capsules are also used for the short-term treatment of active benign stomach ulcers, to treat benign conditions of the stomach & intestinal ulcers in patients requiring continuous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, to reduce the risk of NSAIDs associated with stomach and intestinal ulcers.
Lansoprazole Oral capsule may be used as part of combination therapy. This means you may need to take it with other medications.
More common side effects: The more common side effects of lansoprazole can include diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, constipation, or headache.
If these effects are mild, they may go away within a few days or a couple of weeks. If they’re more severe or don’t go away, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
