Ruling 20
Ruling 20 capsules [OMEPRAZOLE] are used to relieve symptoms like heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. The medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus; helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus.
Omeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and has been in use for some 10 years and appears to be safe for long-term use. It controls acid production in the stomach only and does not affect the acid/alkaline balance of the body.
Presentation: The package contains 14 capsules of 20 mg each
Composition:
Each capsule contains:
Enteric-coated pellets of Omeprazole eq. to Omeprazole 20mg
Dosage:
For ulcer or stomach infection: 20mg once per day for 4 weeks.
For gastric ulcer: 40 mg per day for 4 to 8 weeks.
For gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): 20 mg once a day for 4 weeks.
The dose of Omeprazole is not recommended to children ages 0-15 years.

Side effects
- Headache
- abdominal pain
- nausea
- diarrhea
- vomiting
- gass
some serious side effects that are not common but could occur are:
- seizures
- abnormal heart beat
- tremors
- muscle weakness
- spasms of your hands and feet
