Canesten Extra Bifonazole cream (Bifonazole 1% w/w) is 15g broad spectrum Antimycotic cream.

Package contains: 15g cream and enclosed informational leaflet.

Composition:

Bifonazole B.P 1% w/w.

Mfg. Bayer specification.

Dosage: Use as prescribed by the physician. For detailed information, please read the package insert carefully. For two to three weeks, a thin layer of cream should be applied and massaged into the afflicted regions once a day, preferably before going to bed.

Usage: Ringworm, athlete’s foot, and fungal sweat rash are all fungal skin illnesses that can be treated with Canesten Cream. Bifonazole is an imidazole derivative having wide antimycotic activity against dermatophytes, microbes, spores, and other fungi. Bifonazole inhibits the growth of fungi.

Precaution:

For external use only.

Do not store above 30 °C. Keep out of the reach of children.

Do the small skin patch test before applying it to the whole affected area.

If your symptoms do not improve after seven days, you should see a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects: Canesten Extra may cause irritation or redness immediately after the application. The ingredients used in this medicine may cause hypersensitivity in some patients. If any other side effect appears or persists in the patient, see the doctor immediately.
