Flutrim cream Hydroquinone + Fluocinolone Acetonide + Tretinoin is in a hydrophilic cream base for topical application. for external use only.
Package contains: Each package contains a 15gm tube. Flutrim cream is also available in 30gm cream.
Composition
Hydroquinone 4% w/v
Fluocinolone Acetonide 0.01% w/v
Tretinoin 0.05% w/v

Usual Dosage: Apply a thin film to affected area once daily at night.
Indications: For the short-term treatment of moderate to severe Melasma of the face (upto 8 eight weeks), in the presence of measures for sun avoidance, including the use of sunscreens.
Contra-indication: Allergy to any components of the cream.
Dosage and Administration:
Flutrim cream should be once daily at night. It should be applied at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Gently wash the face and neck with a mild cleanser. Rinse and put the skin dry.
Apply a thin film of the cream to the hyperpigmented areas of melasma including about ½ inch of normal-appearing skin surrounding each lesion. Rub lightly and uniformly into the skin. Do not use occlusive dressing.
During the day, use a sunscreen of SPF 30, and wear protective clothing. Avoid sunlight exposure patients may use moisturizers and/or cosmetics during the day.
Pregnancy: Teratogenic Effects: pregnant category C.
Nursing Mothers: care should be taken to avoid contact between the infant being nursed and Flutrim cream.
Drug Interaction: patients should avoid medicated or abrasive soaps and cleansers, soaps, and cosmetics with drying effects and keratolytic drugs while on Flutrim cream treatment.
