Provate lotion
(Betamethasone Disproportionate USP)
Provate lotion is used to treat various skin allergies like eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash, etc.
It is used for the relief of inflammatory manifestation of resistant or severe psoriasis and corticoid responsive dermatosis.
It is really effective and reduces the symptoms of swelling, itching, and redness.
It is manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Saffron Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd.
Package contains
Each package contains a plastic dropper bottle that contains 0.64mg Betamethasone Disproportionate equivalent to 0.5mg Betamethasone and 20mg Salicylic acid.
Betamethasone and salicylic acid both are steroids that are effective in treating several allergies.
Dosage
Recommended applying a few drops of lotion directly to the affected area and massage gently and thoroughly twice daily (in the morning and at night).
Precautions
*This medicine is only for external use and prohibited for opthalmic use.
*It should not be used near the eyes.
*Not recommended to be used in large amounts or for prolonged periods of time.
*Keep out of the reach of the children.
*Consult your doctor immediately if you find any serious reaction.
Reactions
The most common adverse reaction could be moderate burning, stinging, dry skin, or irritation.
But if you use the product for prolonged periods of time then it may cause dermatitis because of salicylic acid.
Storage
Store between 15⁰C to 30⁰C.
