Nilstat
Nilstat oral drops are in cherry flavor. Its Package Contains 50ml 100,000 units/ml.
Description:
Each Ml contains Nystatin USP 100,000 units.
This medication is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth. Nystatin is an anti-fungal that works by stopping the growth of fungus. Nystatin suspension should not be used to treat fungal infections of the blood.
Nistatin USP:
Nystatin is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus. Nystatin when taken by mouth is used to treat yeast infections in the mouth or stomach.
Oral nystatin is not absorbed into your bloodstream and will not treat fungal infections in other parts of the body or on the skin. Nystatin may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
Average Daily Dosage:
For Children and adults: 4ml-6ml (400,000-600,000 units) four times daily (one-half of the dose on each side of the mouth).
For Infants: 2ml (200,000 units) four times Daily (1ml on each side of the mouth). Use as directed by the physician or see leaf insert.
Administration:
- Shake well before use.
- Protect from heat and sunlight.
- Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
