Santodex (Tobramycin / Dexamethasone) 0.3% w/v / 0.1% w/v is for ophthalmic suspension USP. It is sterile eye drops.

Tobramycin USP 3.0mg
Dexamethasone USP 1.0mg
Excipients: Benzalkonium chloride (as preservative), Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Inactives & purified water to 1ml. USP specifications.
Uses: Tobramycin belongs to a class of drugs called aminoglycoside antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medication treats only bacterial eye infections. It will not work for other types of eye infections.
Its ingredient Dexamethasone provides relief for inflamed areas of the body. It is used to treat several different conditions, such as inflammation (swelling), and severe allergies.
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Contraindications: it is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the excipients.
Warning and Precautions: To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, don’t touch the tip of the bottle and avoid contact with the eye. Replace the cap after using it.
Instruction / Note: For full prescribing information see package insert. Store below 30°C. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. use within one month after opening. Shake well before use.
