Xaltide HFA (Salbutamol + Beclometasone dipropionate) inhaler is for inhalation use only.It is composed of Beclomethasone and Salbutamol, Beclomethasone belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids.

Beclomethasone is an anti-inflammatory agent that reduces inflammation in the air passages and makes it easy to breathe. Salbutamol is a short-acting bronchodilator that makes lungs muscles relaxed & breathing easier.

Package Contains: It contains an inhaler 200 metered doses of 100 mcg + 50mcg.

Composition:

Each metered dose contains:

Salbutamol 100 mcg. (as salbutamol sulphate Ph. Eur.)

Beclometasone dipropionate BP 50 mcg.

Also contains CFC-Free propellant, HFA 134a.

Dosage: As directed by the physician or see package insert for full prescribing information.

Uses: This product is used to control and prevent symptoms (wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma or ongoing lung disease.

Precautions: Always replace the inhaler cap after use. Gargle and rinse your mouth with water after each use. If you have sudden worsening of breathing, use your quick-relief inhaler and get medical help right away. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.

Side effects: Headache, throat irritation or stomach upset may occur.

Some serious side effects occur white patches on tongue/in mouth, signs of infection, mental/mood changes trouble sleeping, vision problems, increased thirst/urination, muscle cramps, shaking.

Instructions: Store below 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and frost. Shake well before use. The container should not be broken, punctured, or burnt even when apparently empty. Keep out of reach of children. To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
