Abocran
Abocran cranberry standardized extract. Alternative medicine herbal, anti-adhesion & anti-oxidant and prevents urinary tract infection. It is available in sachets.
Abocran Sachet 10’s is manufactured by Abbot Laboratories (Pak) Ltd.
Composition:
Each 5.6 g sachet contains:
Vaccinium macrocarpon (Cranberry)
Powder extract 250 mg
Clinical studies have shown that Abocran:
• Helps to prevent urinary tract infections (UTI) and minimizes the use of antibiotics.
• Relieves pain, irritation, and burning sensation of the urinary tract.
• Prevents the adhesion of E.coli to the urinary tract.
• Provides a good source of natural antioxidants.
Dosage and direction for use: Dissolve the content of one sachet in a glass of water and use it immediately. Use one to two sachets daily or as directed by the physician.
Store in a cool and dry place below 25°C. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. This is not an aliphatic drug.
Side effects: Mild stomach upset and diarrhoea.
When not to use: Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Precaution: Before taking cranberry, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
It might increase how much vitamin B12 the body absorbs for people with low levels of stomach acid.
