AQUALEX (O.R.S) low osmolarity formula is oral electrolyte powder in orange flavoured in sachets which is manufacture by evolution pharmaceuticals (PVT.) LTD.
AQUALEX (O.R.S) is used for the treatment of dehydration due to diarrhoea and vomiting.
It is for patients of all ages with diarrhoea and vomiting. You can use it for all people at home.
It will lead to good health and you can buy it from your nearest pharmacy as a whole box having 20 sachets or a single sachet.

Each sachet contains:
Sodium Chloride 2.6g
Glucose Anhydrous 13.5g
Potassium Chloride 2.6g
Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate 2.9g

HOW TO USE/ Instructions:
Each sachet is for 1 litre of water and only for oral use.
In a jug pour one litre or four glasses of boiled, cool water.
Add AQUALEX (O.R.S. I.P) one full sachet into water.
Mix it well.
Your ORS drink is ready.
To children give it after every diarrheal episode and also give him/her mother’s milk with light foods.
Keep the unused drink covered and in a cold place.
Use within 24 hours.
Always follow your doctor instructions.
Usual Dosage:
Infants: 1 litre over 24 hours period.
Children: 1 litre 8 to 24 hours period.
Adults: Drink freely as required or 2 to 4 litres during 24 hours or as directed by your physician.
Contraindications:
You should consult a doctor if u have any of these conditions,
Intestinal obstruction, dynamic ileus, renal impairment.
