Risek Insta (Omeprazole + Sodium bicarbonate) is a Sugar-free Powder/Sachet (Mint flavor) an oral suspension.
It is used for the treatment of stomach or oesophagus problems such as; gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, peptic ulcers, reflux esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Package contains: Risek Insta Contains 10 Sachet of 40mg in its pack. Also Available as Risek 20mg Sachet.
Composition:
Each sachet contains:
Omeprazole USP 40mg.
Sodium Bicarbonate USP 1680mg (as buffer)

Dosage: As directed by the physician. For further information please see information leaflet.
Preparation and administration:
- Empty the sachet contents into 1-2 table spoons(15ml-30ml) of water to form suspension.
- Stir well and drink immediately.
- Refill cup with water and drink.
- Do not use other liquids of foods.
Uses:
Risek Insta Powder/Sachet is composed of Omeprazole, a group of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors. It shows effectiveness by reducing the amount of acid made by the stomach.
Some side effects may be caused by this sachet, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;
- Fatigue
- Pain
- Fever
- Abdominal swelling or pain
- Headache
Some serious side effects may also occur;
- Worsening joint pain
- Muscle spasms
- Signs of lupus
Instructions:
Store at 25oC (Excursions permitted between 15-30o C).
Protect from sunlight and moisture.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
