Duofilm
Duofilm is a mixture of two chief acids Salicylic acid and Lactic acid. In addition to these two acids, there are some flexible collodion included in the composition of this medicine.
Salicylic acid is a keratolytic which is usually used in curing the damaged layer over the skin. The damage can be warts, bumps, ringworm, and ichthyosis.
Lactic acid on the other hand moisturizes the skin and aids Salicylic acid to work at the affected area effectively.
Because of this functionality of components used in Duofilm, it is recommended for skin problems such as plantar, corns and calluses. Other minor functions of this medicine include treating dandruff, lighten moles and birthmarks.
Composition:
The medicine is available in a standard bottle of 15ml. A 15ml bottle contains 16.7% of salicylic acid, 16.7% of lactic acid and a suitable amount of flexible collodions.
Directions:
Duofilm is for external use only. The medicine is in liquid form and it is applied directly on the skin each day or as recommended by the doctor or dermatologist. The liquid must be applied only to the affected area.
The medicine is highly flammable and the cap of bottle is closed firmly after use. If the cap is not closed properly, the liquid of medicine can become contaminated.
