Bronochol
Bronochol cough syrup is manufactured by Ferozsons Laboratories Limited. It is used for the treatment of congestion and cough caused by bronchitis, breathing illness, and the common cold.

Each 100 ml of syrup contains;
Chlorpheniramine
Maleate B.P. 100 mg.
Terpin Hydrate U.S.P 200 mg.
Pot. Bicarb B.P. 2 mg.
Amm. Carbonate
Sol. B.P 5 ml.
Tr. Senega B.P. 1.0 ml.
Menthol U.S.P. 20 mg.
Aminophylline Ph. Eur. 640 mg.
Pot. Guaiacol
Sulfonate U.S.P. 100 mg.
Pot. Citras B.P. 2 mg.
Tr. Ipecac B.P. 0.5 ml.
Ext. Glycyrrhiza B.P. 2.0 ml.
Bronochol syrup belongs to a group of medicines called “Expectorant”. This syrup contains Ammonium Carbonate and a mix of natural ingredients in a pleasant tasting mixture to combat productive cough.
It works by loosening and thinning mucus in the airways, clearing congestion and making breathing easier.
Dosage: For adults and children (above 12), take 1-2 teaspoon of Bronochol syrup 3 times a day. For better relief, take this syrup by mixing in equal amount of Luke warm water.
You are advised to take this syrup for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition.
