Brontus
Brontus is cough syrup. It is used to relieve cough.
Package contains: Each pack of brontus contains 120 ml syrup.
Composition:
It is composed of:
Rose Damascena (Gulab)
Lavendula Steochas (Ustukhuddos)
Opercula turpethum (Tervi Sufaid)
Polypodium vulgare (Bisfaig)
Feoniculum vulgare (Sounf)
Ficus Carica (Angeer)
Vitis Vinifera (Munakka)
Linum Usitatissimum (Alsi)
Hyosscyamus Niger (Ajwain Khurasani)
Dosage:
Adults: 2 teaspoonfuls every 4 to 6 hours.
Children: 1 teaspoonful every 4 to 6 hours.
For better efficacy syrup can be taken mixed with lukewarm water or as directed by the physician.
Indications: Brontus is used for comprehensive treatment of cough, cold, flu, and throat irritation. It is also used to treat bronchitis, chest congestion, sinusitis, and hay fever.
Side effects: It can cause headaches, dizziness, confusion, and nausea. It can also cause disturbance in sleep.
Some people may experience allergic reactions because of some inactive ingredients present in syrup. These effects are reversible (effects can be reversed by terminating the use of syrup).
Caution: If patient is allergic to syrup, do not take it and contact to doctor or pharmacist.
Instructions: Shake well before use. Keep away from children. Protect from heat & light.
