Bambuterol HCI B.P 5mg

Indication: bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other lung diseases, where bronchospasm is a complicating factor.
Dosage & Administration:
Bambuterol is taken once daily, shortly before bedtime. The dosage should be individual.
Children: 2-5 years: The recommended normal dose is one teaspoon.
6-12 years: The recommended initial dose is one teaspoon. The dose may be increased after 1-2 weeks, depending on the clinical effects.
Adults: 6-12 years: The recommended initial dose is two teaspoons. depending on the clinical effects. The dose may be increased upto 4 teaspoons after one to two weeks or as directed by the physician.
Uses;
Asthma: it is used in the treatment of asthma which is an inflammation of the airways. Wheezing, cough, difficulty in breathing are a few symptoms of asthma.
This medicine is used for the prevention and treatment of bronchospasm in patients suffering from asthma and other airway-related problems.
Precautions: This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to bambuterol or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.
Side effects: Shaking and trembling of arms and feet, Restlessness, Cramps and muscle spasm, sleep disturbance, agitation, muscle pain and weakness, increased thirst, irregular heartbeat, Headache, Nausea, or Vomiting.
