Foro B12
Foro B12 is mainly used for the treatment of Vitamin B12 deficiency. The active ingredients used in this medication increase the excretion of uric acid in the urine and treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, infancy, and childhood.
It is manufactured by AMSON VACCINES & PHARMA (PVT) LTD.
Indications: Aid in growth disorder. Pregnancy, lactation, anorexia, and anemia – except for those with iron deficiency.
Package contains: 120ml syrup in a plastic bottle.
Composition:
Each 10ml contains:
- Orotic Acid 50mg
- Vitamin B12 B.P 250mcg
- Folic acid B.P 1mg

Dosage: The usual dosage of Foro B12 ranges from 10ml to 30ml a day from children to adults or as directed by the physician.
Side Effects:
During treatment with this syrup patients with allergy to the components may show some of the following side effects:
- Light transitory diarrhea.
- Itching.
- Sense of swelling.
- Anaphylactic manifestations.
Contra-indications: Ascertained individual hypersensitivity to the product.
Precautions: Protect from direct sunlight. Due to the presence of folic acid, the use of Foro B12 is not advisable in pernicious anemia, although it does not correct hematological abnormalities.
Storage Conditions:
- Keep at room temperature.
- Protect from direct light.
- Shake well before use.
- Keep out of the reach of the children.
