Hylixia 120ml Cough Syrup is composed of Ivy leaf extracts and belongs to the cough category.
Hylixia provides relief from excess mucus and painful coughing bouts. It is used as a cough suppressant, expectorant, mucolytic and spasmolytic agent. Relieves chest congestion, soothes the mucus membrane of bronchial walls, and restores normal breathing. Acts as an antitussive and has a soothing effect on a sore throat. It reduces chest congestion.
Composition:
Purified water, sorbitol, flavor, xantham gum, potassium sorbate, citric acid.
Each 5 Ml contains IVY Leaf extract (Ph.Eur.) 35 mg.
How to use:
Take 2.5 mL (½ tsp.), twice daily for at least 1 week.
Children 1 to 5 years old, weighing 12 kg (26.5 lbs) or more:
Take 2.5 mL (½ tsp.), 3 times daily for at least 1 week.
Consult a healthcare professional if use exceeds 14 days.
Children 6 to 11 years old: Take 5 mL (1 tsp.), 3 times daily for at least 1 week.
When not to use:
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug and pregnancy.
Side Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal and epigastric pain.
Precautions:
Do not use if you are allergic to Ivy leaves.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
If dyspnea, fever, or purulent sputum occurs, consult your doctor.
