Neojex is aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone suspension used for relief of flatulence & heartburn.
Package contains: 1 pack of neojex contains 120 ml suspension (syrup) and an inner leaflet.
Composition:
Each 5ml contains:
Aluminum hydroxide 215 mg
Simethicone 25 mg
Magnesium hydroxide 80 mg

Dosage: As directed by the physician. Shake well before use.
Indications:
It is used for heartburn, peptic ulcer pain, sour stomach, stomach acidity, hiccups, swelling in the abdomen, dry eye, constipation, and flatulence.
It works by neutralizing the stomach acid. It can be used to heal dry eye syndrome. It possesses laxative action, so used to get relief from flatulence.
Side Effects: It can cause loss of appetite, confusion, unusual tiredness, muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and slow reflexes. These effects are not severe and can be reversed by discontinuing the syrup.
Interactions: Neojex syrup can interact with ascorbic acid, bisphosphonate derivatives, cephalosporins, citrate, and corticosteroids.
Precautions: Use with precaution if the patient has appendicitis, blockage of the intestine, diarrhea or dehydration.
Instructions: Store in cool, dry and dark place between 15°-25°C. Keep all medicines out of the children’s reach. To be sold and used on the prescription of registered medical practitioners only.
