Spasler-P (Hyoscine butyl bromide) 5 mg/5 ml antispasmodic syrup is manufactured by AGP Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. This medicine is banana-flavored and prescribed by doctors to treat irritable bowel syndrome.

Each pack contains: Each pack of Spasler-P contains syrup of 60 ml and an enclosed leaflet.

Composition:

Each 5 ml syrup contains:

Hyoscine butyl bromide (B.P Specs) 5 mg

Dosage & Instructions:

Infants: 1 teaspoon full 3 times daily.

Children: 1-6 years old, 1-2 teaspoonfuls 3 times daily.

Children over 6 years and adults: 2 teaspoonfuls 3-5 times daily.

This dosage may be adjusted by the physician. Do not store above 30°C. Protect from light, freezing, and heat. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.

To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.

Usage: This medicine is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome which include constipation, stomach upset vomiting etc.

Acute pain due to spasm of. bile duct, urinary passage or gastro-intestinal tract, Pancreatitis, Pains of uncertain genesis in the abdominal region and Postoperative pain.

Side effects: Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. Headache or flushing may also occur. If any of these effects persists or worsens, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
