Vermox
Vermox (Mebendazole) is an anti-infection medication belonging to the category of Anthelmintic medicines. The ingredient used in the composition of this syrup is used in the treatment of various parasitic infections.
Composition:
Each 5ml bottle contains 100 mg of Mebendazole in it. The syrup is an oral suspension and hence only taken orally.
It is also available in the form of tablets with the same composition.
Usage:
Vermox is mainly used in the treatment of parasitic infections such as threadworm, hookworms, guinea, and ascariasis. The worms can be in the stomach or intestine.
Further, it is used in the treatment of infections caused by whipworm, roundworm, and those infections that are caused by the two or more worms simultaneously.
Dosage:
The dose level, time, and days to intake the medicine is prescribed by the doctor. A patient must follow the prescription to prevent any harm.
Adverse effects:
Patients with hypersensitivity should refer to a doctor or physician before taking this syrup. Other side effects may include dizziness, upset stomach, nausea, and hypersensitivity.
Precautions:
Store the bottle below 30 degrees C temperature.
Shake the bottle well before using and close the cap firmly after use to avoid the medicines getting contaminated.
